KILKA is 75% Superwash Merino Wool of 19.5 microns and 25% Mulberry Silk, maximum softness and shine.
Fingering thickness / 400 meters approx. in 100 grams.
KILKA is a very versatile yarn, you can knit it with 1 strand (staff 2.5 - 3) with 2 strands (staff 4.5-5) or mixed with Superkid Mohair (staff 4.5-5), it serves from baby garments to adult sweaters, it is a fresh lightweight and extremely soft yarn.
Care: We always recommend washing your fabrics as little as possible and by hand, but if you want you can wash it in the washing machine (delicate wash) and remove it horizontally as long as it is not a loose or openwork fabric because it will loosen more in the washing machine.
Ball recommendations for fabrics with 1 strand with toothpick 3:
- Sweater up to 12 months: 1 ball
- Sweater up to size 6: 2 balls
- Women's sweater size S: 4 balls
- Women's sweater size M: 5 balls
- Women's sweater size L: 6 balls
For crochet fabrics we recommend adding 1 ball.
